Pan and Tilt Camera Systems |
Pan and Tilt Camera Systems. Our stabilized aerial platforms have been specifically refined for the purposes of capturing aerial imagery. Simply put, we view our Airships as tripods for photographers or as our company name states "Remote Aerial Tripods". As this market has grown we have amalgamated the experience gained from years of infield usage and demonstrations and have purposely designed our gorgeous line up of Blimp/Airships with the ability to fit into a number of roles, multi-purpose if you will.
This freedom allows you to quote on everything from outdoor advertising venues with banners or if your desire is to provide an aerial photography service, you can hoist our exclusive "Vari-Mount" in tandem with any one of our Pan and Tilt Camera mounts, you can then retrieve crystal clear aerial data from a wide range of angles and altitudes. Utilizing a down-link transmitter and receiver, you can view your photographic subject in real-time, which saves you time and money in regards to wasted film and flying time. What is a Vari-mount? It's a device that totally removes engine vibrations and dampens flight induced motion. As well, it allows us to change out any number of cameras and payloads, we have found that when it comes to applying Airships in the market there are so many ways we can be employed and the Vari-mount allows you to simply "Vary" the payloads quickly and efficiently. At any venue there are always a number of applications that we can charge for our services. Also, we recommend utilizing the Vari-mount for any payload that requires total isolation from the flight vehicle itself. We employ it's use exclusively from our tethered Airships and of course our fully remote controlled Airships, also, we find it a standard for our fixed wing aircraft. When it comes to mounting a camera on any type of aerial platform, whether it be a full scale aircraft or a helicopter, there are quite a number of details that need to addressed. Specifically, in the remote controlled UAV industry, if you are to consider such variables as engine vibrations, (which are actually the number one limiting factor in quality and longevity).....imagine for a moment, strapping your high quality camera to a typical chainsaw, well... let's just say "that if you actually get any results you will not have success for any length of time". The high frequency vibrations and harmonics that are produced by the engines are enough to quickly ruin any type of sensitive equipment. We have taken time proven steps in regards to equalizing and removing all vibrations and flight induced motion by a number of factors. For example, our standard in engine mounts are designed to dampen and isolate the associated engine vibrations. In fact, there are a total number of 22 layers of isolation between an engine and where the camera is finally mounted.
